Fires are burning in the Amazon rainforest at an alarming rate. 
亚马孙雨林的火灾正以惊人的速度蔓延。
French President Emmanuel Macron has said the record number of fires is now an "international crisis". 
法国总统埃马纽埃尔·马克龙曾表示这场创纪录的火灾已经成为一场“国际危机”。
There has been an 85 per centincrease in fires in the Amazon this year. 
今年亚马孙地区的火灾增加了85%。
Mr Macron said urgent action needed to be taken.
马克龙称需要立即采取行动。
He said the fires needed to be on top of the agenda at the G7 summit of world leaders in Biarritz. 
他表示在比亚里茨举行的七国集团世界领导人峰会上，解决火灾问题是当务之急。
Macron tweeted about how serious he thought the fires were.
马克龙在推特上谈到了他认为这些火灾有多么严重。

 He wrote: "Our house is burning.
他写道：“我们的家园正在燃烧。
Literally. The Amazon rain forest - the lungs which produce 20% of our planet's oxygen - is on fire.

It is an international crisis.

Members of the G7 Summit, let's discuss this emergency in two  days."

Other leaders agreed that they should discuss the fires.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called the fires an "acute emergency". 
德国总理安格拉·默克尔称火灾为“紧急情况”。
She said they were "shocking". 
她称火灾“令人震惊”。
She added that the fires didn't  only threaten Brazil and its neighboring countries, but also affected  the whole world. 
她还补充道火灾不仅威胁到了巴西以及邻国，也对整个世界造成了影响。
The UK PrimeMinister Boris Johnson called the fires "not only  heart breaking," but "an international crisis".
英国首相鲍里斯·约翰逊称火灾“不仅令人心碎”，也是“一场国际危机”。
 He added: "We stand ready to provide whatever help we can to bring them  under control and help protect one of Earth's greatest wonders." 
他补充道：“我们准备好为他们提供尽可能的帮助，帮助他们控制火灾，保护地球最伟大的奇迹之一。”
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said: "In the midstof the global climate crisis, we cannot afford more  damage to a major source of oxygen and biodiversity. The Amazon must be protected."
联合国秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯表示：“在全球气候危机中，我们不能再对氧气和生物多样性的主要来源造成更大的破坏。亚马孙雨林必须得到保护。”
