在美国，现在受欢迎的不仅仅只有 Chinese food，不是说老美不喜欢中国食物了，只是亚洲其他国家的美食也在慢慢被老美喜欢，像是 Thai, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese food. Watch out! Asian cuisine is becoming more popular every day! 

本期节目就来说说老美喜欢的亚洲美食，不仅好吃，还很好看，这种食物可以叫做 instagrammable food, 拿到美食的第一件事情不是大快朵颐，而是拍照上传到 Instagram上，所以叫 instagrammable food！

Bun or Bao? －包子

先说说老外到底是怎么叫包子的，stuffed bun or bao? 其实两种叫法都可以！关于bao, 其实就是我们包子的“包”的拼音，这个词发音简单，老外叫起来也不难，而且越来越多老外喜欢吃bao, 所以这个叫法也就慢慢传开了。把两个叫法结合下，叫 bao bun也可以的。

除了steamed bao，还有 pan-fried bao－生煎包, aka, pan-fried soup dumpling

Ramen－日式拉面

Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup. "Ramen" is the Japanese pronunciation of Chinese lamian. 
虽然都叫拉面，也都是 hand pulled noodles－手工拉扯出来的面，还是要区分Japanese ramen和 Chinese lamian
一碗好面一定要配上好的汤－broth，这里不用soup，因为配面条的汤里面一般没有其他食材，只有汤底，比如说 chicken broth－鸡汤, beef broth－牛肉汤
因为烹饪方法的不同，面条的种类也有很多，像是 lomein－港式捞面，udon-乌冬面，当然了，不会细分的都可以说：老板，来碗面！

除了fresh ramen, 老外也很迷恋 instant ramen/noodle, 就是方便面啦，各色口味任君挑选，简直完爆他们的 chicken cup noodle！

chewy-有嚼劲的，toffee –太妃糖，liquorice candy-甘草糖的口感就可以用chewy这个词形容

Pho－越南米粉

Just Pho You, Phobulous…. 看看国外这些关于pho的流行语，就知道 Vietnamese pho有多受欢迎啦！Pho trend is sweeping America. 全美上下掀起了吃越南粉的热潮。
trend 指趋势，时尚，比如 fashion trend－流行趋势，food trend－美食风向，大家都在吃，都想去拔草的美食
Personally, I’m a huge fan of Vietnamese pho. 除了清甜的汤底，爽滑的米粉，还少不了garnish－配菜，用来增加香味和口感的
pho的配菜有 bean sprouts－豆芽菜，cilantro－香菜，Thai basil－泰国罗勒，还有 lime wedges－切好的青柠块，根据个人喜好，lime wedges可以不放，我个人觉得跟有点甜的beef broth－牛肉汤很配

Usually, I will order two Vietnamese salad rolls to go with my pho. 
Vietnamese salad roll－越南蔬菜卷 is a refreshing change from the usual fried variety.

Korean BBQ－韩国烤热

What I like about Korean BBQ is that you’re not only eating a lot of grilled meat, but also plenty of vegetables. 不仅能吃到很多 grilled meat－烤肉，烤这个动词可以叫 roast, barbecue, bake, grill 等等，但是这里用 grill，是因为韩式烤肉是放在烤盘上烤的。And the fun part is, you’re involved with the cooking, grilling your own meat as you eat.

Along with your meat, you’ll be served a large bowl of greens－绿叶蔬菜, usually lettuce－生菜, which is used to make little wraps with your grilled meat.
wrap-卷，卷饼，像是麦当劳肯德基的鸡肉卷－chicken wrap， wrap就像我们吃煎蛋饼一样，你可以随意往里面加你喜欢的肉类和蔬菜
wrap也可以做动词，来个短语 wrap it up－卷起来，包起来

Bubble Tea－珍珠奶茶

最后来说说 bubble tea, 也可以叫 boba tea, 意为波霸奶茶，你以为只有你喜欢，喝惯了咖啡的老美也很爱！
Bubble Tea was invented in Taiwan in the 1980s, 除了奶和茶之外，里可以加 tapioca pearls－珍珠，grass jelly－仙草，red bean-红豆，等等。
